SI injuries

Patients who are susceptible to Sacroiliac injuries (SI) have leg length discrepancy, fall on the side or buttocks, misstep off a curb while running, run while twisting, or bend and twist the lumbar spine.

The most complex joint of the human body...sudden or sharp jolts to the leg, such as stepping down and thinking there is another step. CLASSIC...

When working with clients who play racquet sports I have seen this. Think about reaching with a backhand for a ball and how much trunk rotation and bending activities there are..... culprit of potential sacroiliac dysfunction.
